Estimate Agreement

We look forward to working with you. If you have any questions or would like to add or change a service, please reply directly to the estimate via text message. If you do not contact us or request changes through the messaging center by replying directly to the estimate, your message may be lost. All customer communication after the estimate goes through our messaging center. Your service provider does not have access to the sales phone calls or text messages. It is very important that you use the messaging center and not send updates or questions over the phone or by texting us through the sales number. At the time of service, your provider will check our messaging center for special instructions, questions, or updates—not the sales voicemail or texts. Again, please reply directly to your estimate with any questions, updates, changes, or special instructions. If you text or call us at our sales number (757-289-5886), your message may not reach our service team. We recommend contacting sales on an emergency-only basis. Our messaging center functions exactly like two-way SMS and supports photos and videos. All calls, messages, estimates, and jobs are recorded. After-hours phone calls and text messages to our sales number will result in a $20 per text or $20 plus $4 per minute phone charge on your final invoice. Our business hours for the sales department are Monday through Saturday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM. This charge will appear as an “after-hours charge” on your final invoice. The charge does not apply when using our messaging center, though your message will be answered during sales hours.

Inclement weather may cause delays in your project. This includes rain, wet conditions, and heavy winds. These conditions may delay the delivery of materials or labor and could impact small projects for up to two weeks and larger projects for up to a month while we work to catch up. Typically, we reassign customers who are rained out to the next available slot. If the project is multiple days long, we will resume once weather conditions improve. Sometimes, this delays your project by 3 to 7 days until we have an available slot after scheduled appointments.

For customers in areas with restricted, non-street parking, or permitted parking, we will need access to your driveway for service on your service day. Please pick up any toys, remove dog litter, move any lawn furniture, and leave your gate open for service workers.

You may respond to this invoice via text message or email to modify, ask questions, seek clarification, or request changes. Accepting this estimate enters you into a contract with a 33% cancellation fee of the entire project. You will forfeit your deposit in its entirety if materials have been ordered or equipment has been dispatched for your project. By accepting this, you confirm that you are the person listed on the estimate, that you are the owner or an authorized agent of the property, and that you are legally authorized to approve and agree to the work in this estimate at the cost, time, and scope of work described below.

By accepting this estimate, you understand that if you have misrepresented the state of your property through our questionnaire or by phone, charges may differ from those seen on your original estimate upon project completion. Please reference our schedule of charges for more information.

By accepting this estimate, you authorize employees of Impact Landscaping to trespass uninvited third-party individuals from the property for the duration of our work if they are interfering or creating a safety hazard or hostile work environment. If interference comes from a tenant or resident of the home itself, you may be billed for time lost at a rate of $115 per hour per worker.

Change Orders and Cancellation Policy

We operate on a seven-day schedule from 7:00 AM to 8:30 PM, including federal holidays and weekends. If this poses a scheduling conflict, please advise your sales representative to modify your estimate prior to accepting. Proposed service dates are valid for 12 hours following your consultation, and one-time services are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Before receiving a service window, you must pay the deposit associated with your estimate.

Our policy regarding stinging insects, such as wasps, hornets, fire ants, and bees, is that if we are stung during service, we will notify you of where we believe the nest to be. Your balance is due immediately in the event of a sting, and we will reschedule once an exterminator has removed or exterminated the pest. We will reschedule your project within 14 days.

By accepting this estimate, you authorize us to take photos and/or videos while on your property. We may publish these photos for advertising, post them as documentation of our work, or keep them for liability reasons. If you do not wish for photos of your home to be published, please notify us in writing prior to accepting this estimate. These photos may be taken on professional cameras, body-worn cameras, cell phones, or other recording devices.

There is a risk of live, unprotected wires and hoses being cut during service, such as signal wires, thermostat wiring, well pump wires, unburied communications wires, extension cords, water and irrigation hoses, and other utility or light wiring. If the wiring is not sufficiently protected, buried, in conduit, dislodged from its original bracketing, or improperly installed, we do not bear the liability for breaking these wires or hoses during service.

ALL PROJECTS HAVE A DUE DATE OF UPON COMPLETION REGARDLESS OF THE ESTIMATE OR INVOICE AUTO-GENERATED DUE DATE.

All projects are due upon completion. You will be charged your base amount as a deposit for leaf cleanup service. Please review our schedule of charges. Upon completion, you will receive an invoice with the updated total amount for debris removal, according to our schedule of charges.

After a grace period of three days, a late fee of $100 or 10%—whichever is greater—will be charged for the accrued disposal and other charges, as outlined in our schedule of charges.

By accepting this, you authorize us to use your water from an outside faucet while on-site for handwashing, cooler filling, watering, washing, or filling tanks for use on your property, or for any other reason while conducting work.

Lockout and Obstruction Information

Lawns that are locked on your service day or lawns with dog litter will not be cut. For recurring mowing services, you will be charged in full for dog litter or locked gates. For one-time services, you will be charged a $100 fee and rescheduled for the next available day. Loose toys, obstructions, trampolines, grills, and lawn furniture not included in your initial estimate may incur a charge for pickup or moving, ranging from $25 to $100. If the area is completely obstructed, you may be charged the base service amount, and the crew may decline service.
